Tarbooj sharbat or Watermelon juice is an instant good summer coolant with wonderful taste and flavors of watermelon. Tarbooj sharbat is hearty juice for summer since it contains 92% water and 8% sugar.

  • 1 cup strawberries (स्ट्रॉबेरीज)
  • 3 cup watermelon juice (तरबूज़ का रस)
  • 1/2 teaspoon ginger paste (अदरक का पेस्ट)
  • 3 tablespoon sugar (चीनी)


How to Make Tarbooj Sharbat

  • Remove stem the berries and wash and in cold water.
  • Force through a food mill to separate seeds from the puree.
  • Alternately place a nylon sieve over a bowl and, using a pestle or outstretched fingers, push to extract the fruit puree, discard the seeds.
  • Combine all the ingredients in a jug, stir well, and refrigerate for a few hours.
  • Stir and serve in glasses with crushed ice, decorating it with fresh mint leaves.
