Murgh Afghani is a well-liked Indian starter recipe prepared from chicken marinated in an exceedingly rich creamy marinade created with cashew nut paste, cream, lemon juice, cheese and ginger-garlic paste, then baked to perfection. The dish contains a smoky and wealthy style.

Ingredients

  • 1Pcswhole chicken ( पूरा मुर्ग )small size
  • 1tbspMelon Seed paste( खरबूजे बीज का पेस्ट)
  • 1.5tbspCashew nut paste ( काजू का पेस्ट )
  • 1tbspPoppy seeds paste (पोस्ता दाना का पेस्ट )
  • 1/2cupFresh Cream ( ताजा क्रीम )
  • 2tbspButter ( मक्खन )
  • 2tea spoonWhite Pepper ( सफेद मिर्च )
  • Salt to taste ( नमक स्वाद अनुसार )

Instructions

  1. Clean the chicken and keep aside.
  2. Make a paste of all the ingredients and marinate the whole chicken well with this. Keep marinated for four hours.
  3. Grill in a tandoor (charcoal grill) till golden.
  4. Serve the murgh afgani hot with onion rings.
