  • 1/2KgChicken ( मुर्गे का माँस )
  • 4 PcsOnion ( प्याज )Large size
  • 1/2 tbspGarlic Paste ( लहसून का पेस्ट )
  • 3/4 tbspBlack Pepper ( काली मिर्च )Powder
  • 4PcsSlit Green Chili ( चीरा हुआ लाल मिर्च )
  • 1/2 tbspVinegar ( सिरका )
  • 4 tbspRefined Oil ( रिफाइंड तेल )
  • 1/2 tbspFenugreek Leaves ( कसूरी मेथी )
  • 1tbspCoriander Leaves ( धनिया पत्ती )
  • 1PinchTurmeric Powder ( हल्दी पाउडर )
  • Salt to taste ( नमक स्वाद अनुसार )


  1. Take 2 Pcs of onion cut into fine slices, garlic paste, half tablespoon Black Pepper powder, a pinch of Turmeric powder, 4 Slit Green chili, Vinegar and salt.

  2. Keep chicken to marinate for 1 hour at least (recommended 3-4 hours for best result)

  3. Heat 4 table spoon refined oil in a pan and fry 2 pcs fine chopped onion till it is translucent.

  4. Add marinated chicken in this and mix well, cover it and cook in low flame till chicken gets cooked and oil starts separating from chicken.

  5. Fry chicken for another 5 minutes.

  6. After chicken gets fried add some water for gravy and let it boil.

  7. After chicken gets boiled add rest of Black Pepper and Fenugreek Leaves to it.

  8. Serve your Chicken Kali Mirch Garnishing it with fresh Coriander Leaves.
