Ingredients
- 1 kilogram of ladyfinger (भिन्डी)
- 2 pieces onion (प्याज) -chopped
- 1 tablespoon ginger-garlic paste (अदरक-लहसुन का पेस्ट)
- 1 tablespoon coriander powder (धनिया पाउडर)
- 1 teaspoon cumin seeds (जीरा)
- 1 teaspoon red chili powder (लाल मिर्च पाउडर)
- 1 teaspoon dry mango powder (आमचूर पाउडर)
- 1/4 teaspoon turmeric powder (हल्दी पाउडर)
- salt to taste (नमक स्वाद अनुसार)
- oil (तेल)
Instructions
How to Make Bhindi Masala
- Wash and cut bhindi in halves.
- Heat oil in a wok or kadhai. Add cumin seeds and let it splutter.
- Add chopped onions and ginger garlic paste. Fry till golden brown.
- Now add cut bhindi with rest off the spices and stir well.
- Cook it on medium flame and keep stirring it occasionally so it does not stick at the bottom.
- Keep frying till bhindis are cooked.
- Serve bhindi masala hot with chapatis.
